Introduction to the new four-cylinder electric pressure testing pump product
The pressure testing pump is actually a device that provides high-pressure liquid for various pressure equipment, such as the valves and boilers we commonly see, and it is also essential for firefighting equipment. It is made of stainless steel and is now widely used in various industries, even in the aerospace industry. Due to its different uses, pressure testing pumps are divided into electric pressure testing pumps and manual pressure testing pumps.
The electric pressure testing pump is made of stainless steel and belongs to the reciprocating plunger pump. It consists of several parts combined together, working by driving the plunger with a motor to increase pressure through the sliding mechanism. Due to the complex structure of the electric pressure testing pump, it is important to pay attention when using it. The switch must be tightened clockwise. Additionally, there are requirements for its working environment; it cannot be used in the presence of acidic, alkaline, or corrosive substances. Furthermore, when not in use, it must be filtered with kerosene or fire oil. Importantly, it cannot operate without water load. As long as these points are followed, the normal use of the electric pressure testing pump can be ensured.
The electric pressure testing machine is mainly suitable for water pressure tests of various pressure vessels, oxygen cylinders, pipelines, valves, steam boilers, etc. It is a new series of products designed by the joint design group of the General Machinery Research Institute of the former Ministry of Machinery Industry. It has the characteristics of high standardization, long service life, stable performance, flexible mobility, and light weight of old products, and on this basis, it has added a transmission device and cross conversion, making this series of products meet the requirements, with more stable and reliable performance, safer and more convenient use, while achieving energy saving and electricity saving effects. In terms of product structure, a closed water tank is selected to reduce the overall height, making the appearance more compact and beautiful. This product is specially designed for working media of clean water, emulsions, and oils with a viscosity not exceeding 45mm2/s at 5°—60℃. In the initial stage of pressure testing, it can quickly fill and pressurize to shorten the testing time, with a large flow rate. When the pressure exceeds 1.6Mpa (this pressure can be lowered), the flow rate automatically decreases to ensure a smoother pressure testing process. Therefore, this product has two flow rates at high and low pressures and can automatically switch. Any pressure test can be conducted below the rated discharge pressure. The working environment temperature of this product is: 5°—60℃.
Applications
The 4DSY type pressure self-control electric pressure testing pump is produced according to the petrochemical general machinery standard JB/T9089—1999 of the Ministry of Machinery Industry. This pump is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical engineering, and mechanical construction. It can be used for sealing pressure tests and strength tests of various pressure vessels, boilers, water heating gas pipelines, valves, rubber and plastic fittings, and mechanical components. The testing media are clean water, emulsions, or oils with a movement index of <45mm/s at 5℃-60℃.
This series of pumps has stable working performance, high standardization, easy operation and maintenance, compact structure, and flexible mobility, making it suitable for various construction sites and laboratories. It is an ideal pressure testing device.
II. Equipment Features of the Pressure Pump 1. Using water or oil as the pressure testing medium, it can achieve water pressure tests at different pressure levels between 35MPa-280MPa. 2. The entire testing process is fully controlled by a computer, and all test settings and operations can be completed on the automatic control console, or each valve can be manually controlled remotely, achieving unmanned pressure testing on-site. 3. The computer automatically generates pressure and time curves, displays them in real-time, and stores various data, which can be printed out at any time in both Chinese and English inspection reports. 4. Monitoring of the test object, with the entire process recorded and data compressed for storage. 5. The computer has both automatic and manual pressure relief devices, making it safer and more reliable. 6. The entire set of equipment has mature technology, and many companies have been using it safely for many years. 7. The core components of the equipment are gas booster pumps and high-pressure valves. 8. The electrical control part follows the electrical industry standards, using industrial control computers and data acquisition cards, ensuring stable control performance and reliable data.
III. Structure
The 4DSY is a horizontal four-cylinder reciprocating electric pressure testing pump, consisting of a water tank base, main machine, control, electrical, and other parts. During operation, the motor drives the crankshaft slider through a variable speed device to drive four plungers to perform reciprocating motion. The action of the two-stage one-way valve allows for the suction, discharge, and pressurization of the liquid, and the pressure is automatically adjusted through the pressure regulating valve in the control part, with the pressure gauge displaying to maintain constant system pressure. After the pressure test is completed, the pressure relief valve is released to depressurize the system.
The main features of this machine are its compact structure, stable operation, sealed and dustproof water tank, large flow rate, ease of use, and suitability for testing low-pressure or high-pressure large container systems and components.
IV. Usage
It is strictly prohibited to operate beyond the rated pressure.
The calibrated pressure of the low-pressure regulating valve ≤ The calibrated pressure of the high-pressure regulating valve ≤ rated pressure.
1. Check the lubricating oil. The oil level should reach 1/4 to 1/3 of the height (diameter) of the oil window (46# ordinary machine oil).
2. Add enough clean liquid to the water tank and install the pressure gauge.
3. Run the pump empty until water flows out of the outlet joint, continue to run empty for about one minute, and then connect the tested container to start working.
4. In winter, thawing treatment must be done before each use. Manually rotate the coupling parts more than 10 times without obstruction before starting the machine.
Note that the two pressure regulating valves have been calibrated according to the rated pressure of the pump before leaving the factory. If the test pressure is lower than the rated pressure, please follow the steps below to recalibrate.
(1) Test pressure higher than the calibrated pressure of the low-pressure regulating valve and lower than the rated pressure.
(1) Loosen the tightening nut and completely unscrew the high-pressure regulating valve rod.
(2) Start the machine and work normally. When the pressure reaches the calibrated pressure of the low-pressure regulating valve and no longer rises, slowly tighten the high-pressure regulating valve rod to reach the required pressure.
(2) Test pressure lower than the calibrated pressure of the low-pressure regulating valve.
(1) Completely unscrew both pressure regulating valves (the machine does not pressurize and completely overflows).
(2) Slowly rotate the low-pressure regulating valve rod to make the pressure reach or be lower than 10% of the test pressure and lock it.
(3) Slowly rotate the high-pressure regulating valve rod to make the pressure reach the test pressure.
(3) When changing the test pressure, it is necessary to readjust according to the above steps.
V. Maintenance
1. Ensure that the lubricant level meets standard requirements.
2. Keep it clean. Regularly check the tightness and leakage of all connection points, and make adjustments in a timely manner.
3. The pressure regulating valve is strictly prohibited from being moved arbitrarily.
4. Ensure that the liquid intake is unobstructed, the liquid must be clean, and the filter should be cleaned regularly.
5. If the test medium of the pump is water or emulsion and the downtime is relatively long, the liquid should be drained first, and then rust-proof oil or winter mechanical oil should be injected into the pump chamber to prevent rust.
