The electric pressure testing pump is equipment used for water pressure testing of various pressure vessels, pipelines, high-pressure cleaners, and various pressure-bearing components, as well as testing gas cylinders, high-pressure hoses, etc. It also provides high and ultra-high pressure sources for various industries. Features of the electric series pressure testing pump:

1. The electric pressure testing pump produced by our company is an ideal device for obtaining high-pressure liquids in laboratory and water pressure testing of various pressure vessels, pipelines, boilers, gas cylinders, valves, pressure vessels, and fire-fighting equipment. The pressure testing pump products and supporting pressure testing and testing projects have been applied in pressure testing in the aviation field and have been used in our scientific research and development projects. They have made significant contributions to many scientific research projects underground, such as high-pressure testing, deep-sea testing, space technology, high-temperature and high-pressure testing, and special-shaped pipe testing.

2. This pressure testing pump is specially designed according to the requirements of water pressure testing. In the initial stage of pressure testing, it has a large flow rate, can quickly fill and pressurize, to shorten the testing time. When the pressure exceeds 1.6MPa, the flow rate automatically decreases to ensure that the pressure testing process can proceed smoothly and slowly. Therefore, this pump has two flow rates at high and low pressures and can automatically switch. Any value of water pressure testing can be conducted below the rated discharge pressure.

Installation and use of the electric series pressure testing pump:

1. Installation after unpacking

After unpacking this pump, the rollers and pressure gauge should be installed. Place the four rollers on the axle (with washers on both sides of the rollers) and secure them with the opening lock. The pressure gauge should be screwed into the upper pressure gauge connector nut, with the face oriented for easy observation.

After connecting the working joint of the self-collecting water device to the tested device with the pipeline and power line, it can be put into operation.

2. Usage method

(1) Preparations before use:

a. Add enough lubricating oil to the gearbox, ensuring the oil level reaches the middle of the oil mark. The lubricating oil should be black gear oil (SYB1103-62S).

b. Add 30 mechanical oil (we use B443-64) to both sides of the transmission box.

c. Fill the water tank with clean testing medium. The liquid level should not exceed the upper end of the liquid level gauge, and it should be noted to replenish at any time. The testing medium can be water or oil with viscosity similar to water, and its temperature should be between 5℃ and 60℃, preferably slightly higher than the ambient temperature.

d. The range of the pressure gauge should not be less than 1.5 times the test pressure. If the pressure gauge that comes with this pump has too large a range, please use a suitable pressure gauge.

e. The tested device should be pre-vented of air and filled with working medium to shorten the pressure testing time.

f. Open the drain valve, press the jog button, and run the pump in an empty state. If there are no abnormal sounds or obstruction phenomena, the drain valve can be closed, and this pump can be started for pressure testing.

(2) Precautions during use: The power supply connected to the pump should be equipped with a fuse, and the wiring should ensure that the power supply is reliably grounded for safety.

a. The oil temperature in the gearbox should not exceed 80℃.

b. If any obvious leakage is found in the pump or other parts during operation, the machine should be stopped and depressurized for maintenance.

c. When the pump's discharge pressure reaches or approaches the test pressure, it should be stopped first, and then pressure should be added. At this time, the shut-off valve automatically disconnects the pump from the tested system and maintains pressure.

d. The safety valve should not be used as an overflow valve; it should not be adjusted higher or lower. If a fixed test pressure is to be maintained during pressure testing, it is recommended to install an overflow valve on the pipeline.

e. When testing low-pressure devices (P ≤ 1.6Mpa), the action pressure of the liquid control valve can be appropriately lowered; remove the cover nut below the liquid control valve, loosen the locking nut, and then appropriately loosen the adjusting screw to relax the spring, which can lower its action pressure.

Note: The action pressure of the liquid control valve must not exceed 1.6Mpa.

f. If the volume of the tested device is very small and the pressure rises too quickly, the action pressure of the liquid control valve can be lowered. During pressure testing, using a high-pressure water tank can reduce the pressure rise speed (when the test pressure is slightly higher than 1.6Mpa). If the pressure rise is still considered too fast, multiple tested devices should be connected together for pressure testing, or a pump with a smaller flow rate should be selected.

Precautions for using the pressure testing pump:

1. Before starting to use the pressure testing pump, carefully check whether all component connections are tightened, whether the pressure gauge is normal, and whether the inlet and outlet water pipes are installed correctly. The working medium for this pump is clean water, emulsion, or oil with a kinematic viscosity of <45mm2/s at 5~50℃. It is prohibited to use unclean water containing sand and other impurities.

2. To improve testing efficiency, the tested container or equipment can be filled with water first, and then the outlet pipe of the pressure testing pump can be connected.

3. During the pressure testing process, if a large amount of air is found in the water, the drain valve can be opened to release the air.

4. If any slight leakage is found during the pressure testing process, work should be stopped immediately for inspection and repair. It is strictly prohibited to continue increasing pressure in the case of leakage.

5. After the pressure testing is completed, first loosen the drain valve to allow the pressure to drop to avoid damaging the pressure gauge.

Maintenance and care of the electric pressure testing pump  

1. The exterior of the pump, lubrication inside the gearbox and transmission box, and the testing medium in the water tank must be kept clean, and no dirt or other debris is allowed.

2. The lubricating oil used for the new pump should be replaced after 56 hours of operation, and thereafter replaced approximately every 500 hours.

3. Pumps that are not used for a long time should be treated for corrosion prevention. First, drain the testing medium completely and then pump in rust-proof oil or rust-proof water. The exterior of unpainted parts should be coated with machine oil for rust prevention.

2. 新泵一次用的润滑油工作56小时后应当更换,以后每工作500小时左右更换一次。

3. 长期停用的泵,应经防腐处理,先把试压介质排净,并抽灌一次防锈油或防锈水。未涂漆的另件外表应涂机油防锈。

4. Frequently check the axial clearance of the pump's worm gear pair, with the worm being 0.04-0.07 and the worm wheel being 0.05-0.10. If these values are not met, adjustments to the cover or side gasket are required.

5. When used in an environment with a temperature below 0°C, antifreeze should be added if the working medium is water.
