Details of the intelligent pipeline pressure testing pump and electric pressure testing pump
This pump is a horizontal three-plunger pump, consisting of a motor, pulley, frame, pump head, and base.
1. Frame
The frame consists of the body, crankshaft, connecting rod, crosshead, etc. The motor reduces speed through a triangular pulley and converts rotational motion into the reciprocating linear motion of the crosshead through a crank connecting rod mechanism.
The body is a box-shaped cast iron structure, with three mounting holes bored at the front end to ensure the coaxiality of the plunger and crosshead. The rear end of the body has a rectangular hole for the easy assembly and disassembly of parts such as the crosshead and connecting rod.
The crankshaft is an integral three-curve structure. The large end of the connecting rod has a split structure, equipped with a standard 175 diesel engine connecting rod bearing, while the small end of the connecting rod is connected to the crosshead pin with a copper bearing.
The crosshead is a cylindrical structure, with elastic retaining rings installed on both ends of the crosshead pin hole to prevent axial movement of the crosshead pin. The connection between the crosshead and the plunger uses a spherical structure to ensure automatic positioning of the plunger.
2. Pump Head
The pump head consists of the pump body, suction valve, discharge valve, plunger assembly, and other parts. The pump body is fixed to the body, and the crosshead drives the plunger to move reciprocally within the pump body, causing periodic changes in the working volume inside the pump body. When the plunger is in the suction stroke, the volume inside the pump body increases, the discharge valve closes, creating a partial vacuum, and the working medium enters the pump body through the suction valve under atmospheric pressure; conversely, when the suction valve closes, the working medium is discharged through the discharge valve, passing through a one-way valve, and is transported to the test device through an external pipeline until the required pressure is reached.
Additionally, a visual pressure gauge is installed on the one-way valve at the right end of the pump head to monitor the discharge pressure of the pump.
A safety valve is installed at the left end of the pump head to provide protection when the system is overloaded. The set pressure of the safety valve has been calibrated at the factory, and users are not allowed to adjust it arbitrarily.
Usage and Precautions for Electric Pressure Testing Pump
1. Usage
a. Add sufficient lubricating oil to the gearbox, ensuring the oil level reaches the marked height on the oil gauge. The lubricating oil should be N68 mechanical oil (equivalent to the old brand 50 mechanical oil). Add N46 mechanical oil (equivalent to the old brand 30 mechanical oil) to the plunger box, ensuring the oil level reaches the center height of the plunger.
b. Check for any looseness in the connecting bolts of each transmission part.
c. Check if the water tank is filled with the medium at room temperature. The medium should reach the upper limit of the water gauge.
d. Rotate the pulley a few turns to check for any jamming or collision during the operation of the machine, and also check for any looseness in the sealing pressure nuts.
e. Properly connect the test device to this system.
f. Open the manual unloading valve, start the pump for a few minutes of normal pressure operation, and after normal operation, close the unloading valve to begin pressurization.
g. When the system pressure reaches the required pressure, stop the machine and conduct a pressure holding test.
2. Precautions
a. The range of the pressure gauge should not be less than 1.5 times the test pressure. According to relevant requirements, users are requested to check the pressure gauge before use.
b. Strictly follow the requirements of the operating process.
c. Before pressurizing the test container, all gases in the test container must be completely discharged.
d. During the pressurization test, the rated working pressure of this pump should not be exceeded.
e. The pump and pipeline should be installed in a room with protective equipment.
f. It is strictly prohibited to install or disassemble accessories and conduct maintenance under high pressure; this must be done after stopping and unloading.
g. If any abnormalities occur during the operation of the pump, it should be stopped immediately, and it can only be operated again after the issues are resolved.
Inspection Work of the Electric Pressure Testing Pump During Operation
1. The temperature of the crankcase must not exceed 70°C, and there should be no abnormal noise or severe vibration.
2. Check the temperature and lubricating oil level at each bearing, plunger, etc.
3. Check if the discharge pressure of the high-pressure pump is good.
4. Check the plunger seal to avoid excessive friction between the plunger and the sealing ring, which can cause a rapid increase in temperature. If the temperature at the plunger and sealing ring is too high, pressurization should be stopped, and normal pressure operation should be conducted until the plunger and sealing ring are properly mated before resuming pressurization; if severe leakage is found at the plunger and sealing ring, and the pressure cannot be increased, the worn sealing ring should be replaced.
