Electric Pressure Test Pump Selling Points:
1. This series of pumps uses a closed water tank, has a compact structure, runs smoothly, has an attractive appearance, and is easy to move.
2. This series of pumps is a four-piston reciprocating pump, with the piston, inlet and outlet valves, safety valve core, and hydraulic control valve core all made of stainless steel, while the safety valve body and hydraulic control valve body are made of copper.
3. Equipped with a hydraulic control valve, it can automatically adjust the high and low pressure flow. When the pressure is below 1.6 MPa, the flow is large, allowing for rapid filling and pressurization. When the pressure exceeds 1.6 MPa, the flow is automatically reduced through hydraulic control, allowing for smooth pressurization, reducing the impact on the test container, and protecting the low-pressure cylinder.
4. Equipped with a transmission box, it can store lubricating oil, saving lubricating oil.
Applications
This pump is used in various pressure vessels, boilers, pipe fittings, and all places that require pressure testing and strength testing. The pressure testing pressure value can be locked as needed, and it can automatically maintain pressure. With cleaning attachments, this machine can also be used as a cleaning machine. The medium transported by the pump is generally clean water at room temperature, but emulsions, rust-proof water, and neutral oils with viscosity similar to water can also be used.
Main Structure and Working Principle
This pump is a horizontal three-piston pump, consisting of a motor, pulley, frame, pump head, and base.
1. Frame
The frame consists of the body, crankshaft, connecting rod, and crosshead. The motor reduces speed through a triangular pulley and converts the rotational motion into the reciprocating linear motion of the crosshead through a crank connecting rod mechanism.
The body is a box-shaped cast iron structure, with three mounting holes bored at the front end to ensure the coaxiality of the piston and crosshead. The rear end of the body has a rectangular hole for easy disassembly and assembly of parts such as the crosshead and connecting rod.
The crankshaft is an integral three-curve structure. The large end of the connecting rod has a split structure, equipped with a standard 175 diesel engine connecting rod bearing, and the small end of the connecting rod is connected to the crosshead pin with a copper bearing.
The crosshead is a cylindrical structure, with elastic retaining rings installed on both ends of the crosshead pin hole to prevent axial movement of the crosshead pin. The connection between the crosshead and the piston adopts a spherical structure to ensure automatic operation of the piston.
2. Pump Head
The pump head consists of the pump body, suction valve, discharge valve, and piston assembly. The pump body is fixed to the body, and the crosshead drives the piston to reciprocate within the pump body, causing periodic changes in the working volume inside the pump body. When the piston is in the suction stroke, the volume inside the pump body increases, the discharge valve closes, forming a partial vacuum, and the working medium enters the pump body through the suction valve under atmospheric pressure; conversely, when the suction valve closes, the working medium is discharged through the discharge valve, passing through a one-way valve, and is delivered to the test device through an external pipeline until the required pressure is reached.
Additionally, a visual pressure gauge is installed on the one-way valve at the right end of the pump head to monitor the discharge pressure of the pump.
A safety valve is installed at the left end of the pump head to provide protection in case of system overload. The trip pressure of the safety valve has been calibrated at the factory, and users are not allowed to adjust it arbitrarily.
Installation and Usage Methods
1. Installation
(1) Install the handrail properly.
(2) Install the motor starter and power lines properly. (See Figure 6)
(3) Install the check relief valve properly (this part is packaged separately after being removed from the main unit at the factory). The installation position is shown in Figure 5, and this part is connected to the overflow valve's three-way outlet (for specifications above 40MPa, directly connected to the pump head outlet) with a reverse nut, and the connection should be sealed with a copper gasket.
(4) Install the pressure gauge properly.
(5) Connect the pressure testing pipeline to the check relief valve with a high-pressure hose, and seal the connection with a copper gasket.
(6) Install the water inlet pipeline properly.
2. Usage Methods
(1) Preparatory work before use
a. Add enough lubricating oil to the transmission box, ensuring the oil level reaches the oil level indicator line. The lubricating oil should be N46 mechanical oil (or 40# mechanical oil).
b. Check for looseness at all threaded connections.
c. Check whether the insulation parts of the motor and starter meet electrical regulations. For safety, the entire machine must be reliably grounded.
d. Set up a clean water storage tank and ensure a sufficient water supply. Place the water inlet pipe filter screen into the storage tank, ensuring the filter screen does not protrude above the water surface.
(2) Operating Process
A. Operation for specifications below 31.5MPa (with overflow valve)
a.打开泄压阀手轮及溢流阀调节螺母。
b.启动电机,在常压下运转5分钟,检查泵的运转是否正常。若无异常声响,且泵的排出介质无明显波动,此时可进行升压操作。
c.关闭泄压阀手轮,缓慢调节溢流阀使系统压力缓慢上升,达到试验压力后,松开溢流阀调节螺母以卸除泵的排出压力,随后停机(若用户需要,可不停机),此时,试压管路处于自动保压状态。
d.试压结束后,打开泄压阀手轮,卸除试压管路压力。
e.若用于恒压输出介质时,应关闭泄压阀手轮,调节溢流阀达到试验压力,并锁紧锁紧螺母即可。
B.40MPa以上规格(不带溢流阀)的操作
a.打开泄压阀手轮。
b.启动电机,在常压下运转5分钟,检查泵的运转是否正常。若无异常声响,且泵的排出介质无明显波动,此时可进行升压操作。
c. Stop the machine, close the pressure relief valve handwheel, and briefly activate the motor to increase the pressure to the test pressure and then stop. At this point, the pressure testing pipeline is in an automatic pressure-holding state.
d. After the pressure test is completed, open the pressure relief valve handwheel to release the pressure in the pressure testing pipeline and the pump.
(3) Precautions during use
A. For specifications below 31.5MPa (with overflow valve)
a. During the pressure increase process, if the pressure gauge pointer swings too much, it indicates that the volume of the tested pressure component is too small. At this time, it is better to connect a pressure vessel with sufficient capacity (should comply with relevant national standards) or other corresponding energy storage devices in the system.
b. The method of pre-adjusting pressure for brief pressure increases can be used.
c. If accidental overpressure occurs, the pressure relief valve handwheel can be opened to release some pressure and then re-increase the pressure.
d. The test pressure must not exceed the rated working pressure of the pump.
B. For specifications above 40MPa (without overflow valve)
a. If the volume of the tested pressure component is large, continuous operation can be used to increase the pressure, and when approaching the test pressure, brief pressure increases can be performed. During operation, the system pressure should be closely monitored to avoid accidental overpressure.
b. If accidental overpressure occurs, the pressure relief valve handwheel can be opened to release some pressure and then re-increase the pressure.
c. The test pressure must not exceed the rated working pressure of the pump.
Maintenance and Care
1. The lubricating oil should be replaced once after the pump has been in operation for one month, and then changed regularly every six months, while cleaning the crankcase.
2. The lubricating oil and the pressure testing medium in the water tank must be kept clean, and no dirt or other debris is allowed.
3. Pumps that have been stopped for more than a week should be operated once under normal pressure each week, with each operation lasting no less than 5 minutes.
4. When the high-pressure pump is not used for a long time, all liquid remaining in the pump should be drained, and all parts should be cleaned and coated with anti-rust oil.
