Manufacturer's instructions for using vertical pipe locking machine equipment
The pipe locking machine is used to expand and lock the pipe fittings' end face under normal conditions. It is a fully automatic hydraulic pipe end processing machine controlled by an integrated touch display screen. By changing the mold, it can perform various pipe end processing such as expansion, locking, bulging, and necking according to user needs. The machine can be operated manually, jogged, or automatically. It consists of main components such as an oil tank, bed, slider, main oil cylinder, mold core rod (optional), limit oil cylinder, clamping oil cylinder, clamping mold, axial oil cylinder, and axial angle iron. The pipe material necking is the process of reducing the diameter of the pipe blank's end. The pipe blank enters the deformation zone under axial force, where tangential shrinkage plastic deformation occurs, and then enters the stable zone, ultimately forming a reduced end diameter.
The pipe material expansion is a forming process that enlarges the diameter of the pipe blank's end. The expansion shape can be conical or cylindrical. Under axial force, the pipe blank enters the deformation zone, where tangential stretching plastic deformation occurs, and then enters the stable deformation zone, ultimately forming the desired shape. By setting a pipe throttle valve in the main oil cylinder circuit, the working speed of the main oil cylinder can be adjusted; a stacked hydraulic one-way valve is set in the clamping oil cylinder circuit to ensure that there is no loosening during the mold clamping process; stacked bidirectional throttle valves are set in the displacement oil cylinder, limit oil cylinder, and axial oil cylinder circuits to adjust the bidirectional movement speed of the above oil cylinders. The displacement oil cylinder and limit oil cylinder are used together to facilitate and ensure the accuracy of the workstation conversion, ensuring the quality of pipe fitting processing.
Usage instructions
Structure: Weld a base with channel steel, the power end is equipped with a motor, reducer, and chuck (for clamping pipes, can be replaced with a lathe chuck). The other end is equipped with a support seat (which can be opened), and a heating ring (8-10 nozzles, welded onto a copper pipe ring using gas welding) is fixed on the outer end of the support seat. The outer part is a movable bracket with an alloy mold installed on top.
Usage instructions: Fix the pipe on the pipe locking machine, turn on the heater (ring). Once the temperature is reached, push the alloy mold, and the pipe head shape will meet the requirements. The entire process takes about 15 minutes.

The steel pipe locking machine is mainly used in construction sites, carports, mosquito nets, clothes racks, vegetable greenhouses, scaffolding steel pipes, tables and chairs, and manufacturing industries. It is designed for processing steel pipes, iron pipes, square pipes, round pipes, galvanized pipes, and stainless steel pipes for necking and expansion. It can quickly neck a steel pipe to the required size in seconds, making it convenient and safe.
The pipe locking machine is also known as a necking machine, pipe pressing machine, pipe locking machine, clamping machine, and expansion machine. This machine deforms metal joints under pressure, achieving the required outer diameter of the steel pipe smoothly and accurately. Common types include scaffolding steel pipe locking machines, mainly targeting 48/50 steel pipe necking on construction sites, which can replace top support screw connections. For some small stainless steel pipes and galvanized pipes, a single-head hydraulic pipe locking machine can be used. This machine locks pipes quickly without damaging the surface of the steel pipe, driven by a double cylinder, and can expand and neck steel pipes after changing the mold.
